Hannah Becker - CEO
Hannah Becker is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Becker Marketing & PR. With over nine years of marketing and public relations experience, Hannah’s successful track record of ensuring clients’ reach expansion goals speaks for itself. With extensive experience in a variety of industries – from farming to technology to non-profits – Hannah brings her fresh perspective as one of the nation’s leading millennial influencers to organizations seeking increased millennial market share.
Hannah graduated with a BS in Animal & Dairy Sciences from Mississippi State University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Florida Institute of Technology. As a student, Hannah received academic and athletic recognition as and Intercollegiate Equestrian Foundation Scholar, and multi-champion hunt seat and western rider for Mississippi State University, and awarded Miss Congeniality Miss Dixie National Rodeo. Additionally, her written works received national attention in publications such as USA TODAY, The Commercial Appeal, YFS Magazine, and many others.
Hannah began her career in agriculture by backgrounding calves and raising bucking bulls to cover college tuition during the Great Recession. An accomplished equestrian, she won multiple state and regional championships in dressage, hunt seat, and rodeo competitions. She was the officially the only student in business school pairing Lucchese boots with power suits and submitting 400+ page background operations as business plans. Today, Hannah owns and operates a first generation farm in the Flint Hills of Kansas, specializing in grass-fed beef and pastured pork products.
As a military spouse, Hannah’s held a variety of unique marketing and management positions prior to Becker Marketing & PR, including: Marketing Director for landscape company, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for San Diego-based digital military community, Partner in government contracting start-up, and Director of youth-based non-profit organization. This wide variety of professional experiences helped her develop many of the cross-industry communication strategies she utilizes today, with niche expertise in handling industry “hot topics” with millennial-friendly panache.
Hannah has over 100+ business and marketing articles in publication, in addition to two books, The Motivated Millennial and 7 Truths for Millennial Entrepreneurs. She is currently completing her third book, The Millennial Takeover: Millennials as Consumers, Employees, & Entrepreneurs, with scheduled released date of January 2017. Hannah is currently a contributor to half a dozen national publications, including: YFS Magazine, Task & Purpose, The Rouse, Pink Tractor, NextGen MilSpouse, SpouseLink, GenYize.
Hannah is an adjunct professor at Ottawa University, and is also the Creator and Chief Educator at The MPR Academy – an online, eight-week academy for millennial entrepreneurs. Community-minded, Hannah currently serves on multiple board and committee positions within the Kansas City metro area including: Advisory Council for Olathe Health Systems, Membership Chair for Franklin County Farm Bureau Association, and Membership Committee for Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce.
